As a coach at Chess Magnet School, you benefit from first-class technology, with a Java-based Coaching Station and a centralized server connecting you to your students. Use the Coaching Station to issue or review assignments, print reports, and manage your Students' accounts.

Once you enter the Coaching Station, you can divide each class into separate groups. You can review the curriculum and assign lessons to any of your students. You can also assign the Chess Magnet Rating Test to estimate the strength of your students and measure their progress over time.

Choose Lesson, Exercise or Practice when making an assignment. Lessons present new material, Exercises help students learn it, and Practice Sessions help them refine their understanding. You can select a series of assignments that will be presented, in order, to a student or group of students. This helps you coordinate your personal instruction with the lessons, exercises and practice sessions provided by Chess Magnet School.

You can obtain reports on your students at any time. Progress Reports show rate of improvement. Concept Reports quantify proficiency in specific areas. Use your "Memo Pad" to take notes on each class or student. To help answer your students' questions, you can explore any chess position by calling on the powerful built-in chess engine.

The Coaching Station gives you all the tools you need to guide and challenge your students, identify problem areas, and monitor progress.
